The junior children all particularly enjoyed the visit of author Alex Bellos to school today, where he talked about his series of 'Football School' books and explained how football could be linked to all areas of the school curriculum. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to talk about how a book becomes a reality - and the process of turning an idea into the finished article. We were also supported by Portswood's very own October Books, who provided the opportunity for the children to receive signed and dedicated copies of Alex's books.
